NOTES
1) I think any further growth in the onion bed has come to an end so one of the next jobs will be to lift the Onions and put them somewhere to dry in readiness for cleaning and stringing for storing.

COMMENTS FROM THE POTTING
Jim I will be the one to pick any apples, I’m not sure how many just yet. In the past I put a lot to store but no one ever used them so I may not bother to store any this time.

Stopping by to say hello and that I haven't forgotten about you.
I know that i've been neglecting my blog friends lately and I'm sorry for that.
Glad to see that all is well.:)
Take care Bob.

I am struck, yet again, by the sheer amount of mowing you have to do – seems quite incredible. Must keep you in tip top shape, and your dog too, if he wanders along behind you as mine does when I mow.

Those onions look great!

Speaking of all that mowing, what do you do with the grass, Bob? I'd be amazed if you had enough "browns" to mix with it to make decent compost, but maybe you can get material from from other sources? And hello again :)

I have fond memories of visiting Castle Howard. Once went to an evening classical concert - 1812 overture with fireworks and heavy artillery!!
